Nurse (RN/LPN)

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week) RN/LPN at Yankton Medical Clinic, Norfolk Specialty Clinic. Schedule includes Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Must possess current Nebraska nursing license.

Nursing

Immediate opening for full-time (32-40 hours per week) RN/LPN float.  The applicant will be trained to be proficient in all YMC physician practices and as a “SuperUser” for electronic medical records. The schedule includes Monday-Friday, as well as Saturday morning and ConvenientCare clinic rotation. Must possess a current South Dakota nursing license.

Family Medicine

Immediate opening for full-time (32-40 hours per week) CMA/LPN/RN in the family medicine department.   Must possess an active South Dakota nursing license.  The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  Will also work every 6th Saturday morning and ConvenientCare Clinic rotation.

Internal/Palliative Medicine

Immediate opening for full-time (32-40 hours per week) RN/LPN in the internal medicine/palliative medicine department.  The schedule includes Monday through Friday. Will also be part of Saturday morning rotation and back-up for ConvenientCare clinic. Must possess an active South Dakota Nursing license.

Nurse – Wellness/Float

Nursing

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week) LPN/CMA.   The schedule includes three days per week managing care for ACO patients and two days per week floating to other departments. Will be trained to be proficient in all clinic physician practices and as a “Super User” for electronic medical records.  Saturday morning rotation and back up for ConvenientCare clinic. Must possess a current South Dakota nursing license.

Support Positions

Medical Records Clerk

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week) Medical Records Clerk. Schedule includes Monday through Friday and every 8th Saturday morning. Duties include-Retrieving and filing medical records. Identifying and filing individual reports in appropriate Electronic Medical Records. Forwarding Medical Records to requesting physicians and other authorized Clinic personnel.

Experience in Health Information preferred but not required. Individual must have computer skills/experience; excellent communication skills; possess a positive attitude and be a “team” player.

Receptionist

Float

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week) float receptionist. The schedule includes weekly rotation Monday through Friday. The applicant will be trained as a Saturday morning receptionist and back up for ConvenientCare clinic.

Must have excellent customer service, communication and computer skills; be detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Phone experience and medical background are helpful.

Precertification Coordinator

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week) precertification coordinator.  Will work closely with medical staff in scheduling and precertifying surgeries and procedures. Schedule includes Monday through Friday.  Computer skills required.  Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. One to two years of experience in medical field preferred.

System Support/Data Specialist

Information Technology

Immediate opening for full-time (40 hours per week)  System Support/Data Specialist in the IT Department. Schedule includes Monday through Friday and occasional weekends.  Duties include support of Clinic computers, networks, all aspects of software and hardware applications, interacting/instructing physicians and staff with clinical software, data entry, and printing reports. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or technical field required. Experience with networking, VOIP, SQL, and general technical support preferred but not required.

Individual must possess organizational and time management skills with attention to detail; have the ability to prioritize, adapt quickly to changing situations, and work efficiently; excellent communication skills; positive attitude and be a “team” player. Medical terminology or medical office experience preferred.

Clinical Audiologist

Audiology

Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C. is looking to hire a full-time clinical Audiologist! We are a busy Audiology and Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) combined practice with three ENT physicians and four full-time audiologists with locations in Yankton, SD and Norfolk, NE.

The audiology practice has two sound suites, three fitting rooms, Verifit verification equipment, OAEs, full lab, and vestibular assessment equipment.

The qualified applicant’s responsibilities include clinic diagnostics, hearing aid dispensing (pediatric and adult), vestibular assessments, OAE and aural rehabilitation. Some outreach travel is required. Eligibility for South Dakota and Nebraska audiology licensure required.
