Our Yankton Medical Clinic Nursing Practice Council held a fundraiser for another local organization, CASA, and was able to present them with a check for over $2,600!

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) provides free child advocacy services for abused and neglected children while they are in foster care and court systems.

Crystal Gemar- Southeast CASA says this donation will go towards training more volunteers as they currently have 20 cases with 37 children.

YMC Nursing Practice Council is a group of nurses from each specialty at the clinic who, among many other things, work together to give back to the community in which they serve.
