Yankton Medical Clinic Awards Scholarships- Bowden’s Generous Donation Helps Nursing Students

Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C. has awarded scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year to support local students pursuing careers in healthcare.
High school recipients:
  • Ava Gilbertson (Yankton) – Dr. Theodore H. Sattler/YMC Scholarship
  • Abram Chance (Yankton) – Dr. Jay W. Hubner/YMC Scholarship
  • Landon Schmidt (Tyndall) – Dr. Michael R. McVay/YMC Scholarship
  • Zachary Briggs (Yankton) – Dr. John C. Sternquist/YMC Scholarship
  • William Harrington (Norfolk, NE) – YMC-Norfolk Scholarship
College recipients:
  • Chase Howe (Yankton) – YMC Scholarship
  • Callie Olson & Wesley Genant – USD Sanford School of Medicine
Thanks to a generous donation from Neal & the late Marie Bowden, scholarships were awarded through the YMC Yankton Education Healthcare Fund to nursing students:
  • Kaylee Goeden (Yankton)
  • Nora Robb (Scotland)
  • Christian Fiscus (Coleridge)
  • Zachary Schild (Yankton)
