Nicole Kisely, R.N., received the Business Partner of the Year award from Wagner Indian Health Services (IHS). Kisely, a registered nurse with obstetrics and gynecology, has been providing services at Wagner, along with Amy Eichfeld, M.D., every Wednesday for the past 2 ½ years. Kisely enjoys “providing quality care to patients and providing them the education they need for their upcoming baby and delivery.”

Wagner IHS is the only facility in the system to offer an annual awards program to recognize the support departments provide the center. Approximately 10 years ago, this award was added to the ceremony. Mike Horned Eagle, CEO of Wagner IHS, said “the Business Partner of the Year award was created to recognize all the partners that help us carry out our mission to serve patients.”

The award is an open nomination and anyone in the facility can nominate a business partner. Kisely was nominated by the medical records department. After the awards team reviews the nominations, a winner is selected. The recipients are kept secret until the award ceremony and Kisely was surprised to receive the award.
